Reading Series Call for Actors!

The newly established Reading Series is seeking Actors!

The purpose of the reading series is to expose the university community to emerging or lesser known work in an interactive, intimate setting that encourages theatre practitioners to consider fresh approaches to staged readings.

This is a great opportunity whether you have a long resume or have never done a show and is open to all members of the UVa community.

If you’re interested in participating in one or more of the readings, please fill in the  form HERE

This semester’s schedule includes:

Middletown
by Will Eno
Directed by Ian Lindsay
October 1st

Becky Shaw
by Gina Gionfriddo
Directed by Alex Rafala
October 16th

Gnaw Bone
by Jackson Wolford
Directed by Daniel Prillaman and Kate Tooley
November 19th

Frankenstein
adapted by Doug Grissom
Directed by Adam Santalla
December 3

Readings will be preceded by two to three rehearsals at the discretion of the director, but these will be comparatively low impact productions, and readings and rehearsals will generally occur earlier in the evening than most regularly scheduled rehearsals.

If you have questions: contact Alex Rafala (atr6df) or Kate Tooley (akt8ma)
